Objectives
1. Use of own resources of each scientific matter, direct and indirect, printed and electronic format. 2. Identify the information requests and access methods of the specialized users. 3. Find solution to concrete solutions of specialized information requests, through informatics and manual methods and tools, giving answer and attention to users¿ requests in optimum conditions of costs and terms. 4. Gave orientation to professionals and researchers to own information resources. 5. Create a Selective Diffusion of the Information for specific users.
Description of contents: programme
The general aim of the matter is to indicate the student how to know study and handle the resources of specialized information of the different scientific and professional fields for permanent information. 1. The scientific knowledge: evolution and development. Scientific growth: interdisciplinarity, transdisciplinarity and multidisciplinarity. The develop Sciences. 2. The resources of information common to the fields of knowledge. 3. The resources of own information of each scientific area. 4. Contextualization of the processes of the information diffusion attending to the characteristics of the demand. The grey Literature in the fields of knowledge and in the program developed.
Learning activities and methodology
Acquisition of theoretical and practical knowledge (3 ECTS) through: theoretical classes, educational materials elaborated by the professors, skilled readings and debates, and personal study of the students (competences 1 to 5). Acquisition of skills and skills (3 ECTS) through: readings, individual works or in group, debates and forums, studies of case, etc., that may strengthen students theoretical knowledge and allow them apply them to concrete situations (competences 1 to 5).
