Description of contents: programme
Creativity has generated a "new economic key" that has influenced the transformation of European urban environments. The commitment to the knowledge economy and the creative economy has recently given rise to various urban models associated with the development of cultural and creative industries. The concentration of urban areas in cities is favoring the development of the knowledge economy: cultural districts, creative cities. Networking is facilitating the global expansion of this concept, which involves the intersection of creativity, innovation, culture, and tourism. The synergies between these concepts will lead to the development of creative and cultural tourism, encouraged by various international institutions that advocate for the development of creative cities. The following aspects will be addressed: 0. Introduction to the concepts of talent, creativity, and innovation. 1. Tourism in the knowledge economy and the creative economy. 2. Cultural tourism and creative tourism in tourism innovation plans. Case studies. 3. Smart territory and creative city. Concepts, models, and typologies. 4. Examples of creative cities, creative districts, creative factories, laboratories... 5. Examples of networks: Creative Metropoles, European Human Cities Network, Human Cities, CreArt Cities. 6. The Global Alliance's creative cities network. 7. The Spanish experience: projects and realities. Bilbao, Barcelona, ¿¿Valencia, Madrid.
