Objectives

Students will understand the tools, challenges and opportunities that legal frame offers to the touristic management of cultural heritage. They should also develop skills to manage cultural heritage in compliance with that legal frame.

Description of contents: programme

1. Cultural heritage in the Spanish Constitution. In particular, article 46 and allocation of responsibilities. 2. Different types of protection. 3. Legal regime of immovable property. 4. Legal regime of movable property. 5. Intangible cultural heritage. 6. Museums, archives and libraries.

% end-of-term-examination 50
% of continuous assessment (assigments, laboratory, practicals...) 50

Calendar of Continuous assessment

Continuous assessment will check active participation and performance of the student during the learning activities (lessons, case studies). The other 50 % of the assessment will be provided by the final exam.
