Objectives

In summary, with this subject it's getting students to apply the knowledge acquired in the theoretical classes in the resolution of practical problems on intellectual property, so that they can develop professionally with success in this sector.

Description of contents: programme

In this course the students, divided into groups and under the guidance and monitoring of judges and practicing lawyers, apply the knowledge acquired in previous subjects and carried out the following activities: - Write draft reports on specific issues of great complexity - Analyse various real cases in that their tutors intervened as lawyers for litigants or as judges - Analyze the legal process of creating an audiovisual work - Carried out a simulacrum of the organization a music festival, with the analysis and study of the different contracts that are used in this area - Attend trials conducted before the comercial courts, with the guidance and explanations of the judge who has to issue a judgment - Perform a simulacrum of a civil judicial process, with all its extrajudicial and judicial phases

Calendar of Continuous assessment

To calculate the percentage of continuous evaluation will take into account the active participation developed by students in the different activities planned by the collaborating institution during the days in which the subject is taught. Due to the eminently practical nature of this subject and the active participation of the student in the collaborating entity, the unjustified lack of attendance of the student to any of the sessions of the subject will lead to the qualification of NOT PRESENTED. For it to be a justified absence, the lack of attendance must be due to unforeseen causes of force majeure, totally beyond the student's control (illness, attendance at a trial, medical intervention or other medical test, death of a family in the same cases and with the same limits as labor regulations). The student will also be required to prove or justify this cause with documents.

The final exam will consist of the delivery of a work that summarizes the different activities carried out in the collaborating entities; This work also must be exposed by each group in class for a maximum of 20 minutes.

In the extraordinary or second and last call exam, 100% of the grade will fall exclusively on the test. That is, the grade obtained in the continuous evaluation is not saved. The test will be unique and of a theoretical nature.
