Skills and learning outcomes
Description of contents: programme
Content is understood to be all those activities carried out by students in companies, entities and organisations, which aim to provide a practical (or academic-practical) complement to academic training, provided that this activity is related to their academic training and possible professional opportunities. In particular, the training objective of the internship will necessarily include the following aspects: - Tasks to be developed by the student. - Knowledge to be acquired by the student. - Whether the student will participate in design, planning or development tasks. - Within which projects or areas the internship will be framed. - Tools that will be used.¿
Learning activities and methodology
AF6: PROFESSIONAL INTERNSHIPS. Practices carried out in external organizations, companies or public or private institutions. FY7: Conducting the MEMORY OF INTERNSHIPS MD5: SUPERVISION OF INTERNSHIPS. The student will have a tutor in the company in order to direct, guide and supervise his activity in practice. The student will also have an academic tutor at Uc3m who will be informed about the progress of the internship and will support the student if necessary. He/she will carry out the tutorials that he/she considers necessary and will also grade the student.
Assessment System
The evaluation system includes the assessment of the activities carried out during the internship. The following elements will be used for this purpose: -Tutor's report in the company: The academic tutor of the Uc3m will request this report from the tutor of the company. -Student's report: of the work carried out during the internship. This will be done according to the instructions published in Aula Global, to which the student will have access once the course has been registered. The academic tutor at Uc3m, based on the above documents, will grade the work on the form provided for this purpose. Students who do not submit the report will be marked with NO PRESENTATION. The tutor must send the report with this grade. If the student gives up the practice for which the course has been validated and registered without having reached the hours corresponding to the credits to be passed, he/she will be marked with NO PRESENTATION because he/she will not be able to present the report.

The course syllabus may change due academic events or other reasons.
